This firm stocks UK made Type 421 batteries, as part of it's range of "vintage" type batteries in other sizes, all with external lead strapping. The batteries are made by Lincon in Leigh-on-Sea. Manufacturers website: http://lincon.co.uk . They also stock a more modern, and cheaper, type 421 made in Austria. Type 421 fits, for example chrome bumper MGBs. They stock over 5,000 items for MGB, MGC, MGA, MG Midget, MG T Series and some ZA/ZB Magnette. They do not stock body panels, trim, exhaust or brightwork.
