THE CMGOC PHOTO CLUB

The italian Job run - 2018

Taking advantage of some great weather we traveled across country via Availles, along the Vienne and arriving at Bussiere-Poitevine for visit to ‘The Shed’ and on to Blond, for a well earned lunch at La Grange Italian Restaurant.

CLUB HALLOWEEN MEETING, 2ND NOVEMBER 2017

Some good weather for November allowed us to line up the MGs amidst La Cassotte's impressive, but maybe a bit scary, Halloween decorations. Herewith some photos taken as the light faded (in a photo "gallery" format - click for full photo):

Club meeting 3rd august 2017

Another hot and sunny Thursday evening (initially with a few black clouds threatening) saw the club assemble at La Cassotte for it's first meeting there since June. MGs were parked up and the current I.B.T. Holders, Tim and Caroline, inspected the cars. At the start of the meeting the suspense was palpable.. then Tim announced that this month's winner was Paul South for his MGBGT - "the most original MG present." A very popular choice indeed. A few snaps of the line up follow - the Citron MGB is that of new members Thelma and Roy - welcome!

club meeting 1st june 2017

On a hot, sunny, Thursday a very impressive collection of MGs parked at La Cassotte for the club meeting. Ian Blythen Trophy scrutineers  Jack and Jill made a very careful inspection of all cars, taking copious notes, before declaring Tim and Caroline and their (Woodcote Green??) RV8 to be the worthy winners. Tim and Caroline will therefore be presenting the prestigious trophy next month but can the standard possibly improve?  - I must stop writing this now and go and buy more polish, so here are a couple of photos and a short video:

Place Marceau Limoges, 7th may 2017

Only two MGs on display (the B GT V8 was something of a novelty to the locals) but plenty of interesting stuff, including the bikes:
